We want to introduce you to the "other" members of our household.  Most of the time they will be found in the corner of the couch or snoozing in their secret hiding spots

Our Pet Care Policy

As our Policy and general practice, we do not allow these family members into the guest bedrooms.  In the main areas of the home, we vacumn and clean frequently so as not to accummulate excess hair.

Our four legged members of our home are on a special diet.  This diet has kept them healthy and happy for many years, reducing shedding and possible allergic reactions.

We hope you will understand our love for our special members of our household.  As not to disrupt their home domain we will only consider accommodating only small well behavior dogs that are kept on a leash at all times.  They must be kept in a crate at all times when in your room.  We ask that you immediately cleanup after your special family member when they relieve themself.  Your special family member must not be left alone at anytime.  An additional $10.00 per night will be charged for your special family member.  If your special family member causes any damage you will be responsible for the replace or repair of our property.  We do have a traveling crate available for use if you do not have your own.

  • Callie - We sometimes refer to her as the "The Boss".  She joined our family 7 years ago when we moved to Nauvoo.  You will generally find her sleeping on her favorite blanket on the back of the couch or telling us that the food dish is empty.  She is Joseph's care "giver" and watches over him and sleeps with him.
  •
  • Katie - We refer to as "The Shadow", she is just over 5 years old and came into our home as a lost 3 week old,  which we needed to bottle feed.  She is all gray and like her color disappears into the background after investigating what or who is new to our home.
  • Bella Star Light - She is the baby although she is becoming the largest.  She is a blue seal point ragdoll.  Long white hair does not go anywhere as her breed only loses their hair only twice a year.  She will eventually be about 15 lbs when full grown.  She arrived in our home this year from my sister after I lost Treasure and losing 2 very close friends and a divorce after 28 years of marriage.  She has been my comfort for a long hard winter.  She is most like a dog as she follows me everywhere or just finds a place on my bed to sleep her day away.  She is a one person cat so she is usually hiding when others are around.
  • Noel Rose - Bella's sister - She is the twin to Bella and does as she does.  She has some Reddish markings besides the blue so that is how she came by her name.  I think she is a little bigger then Bella.  We will see how they grow and who will be bigger.
